Yonatan Kelib is a Senior User Experience Designer at Fjord Oy in Helsinki, Finland.
Yonatan is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and leading his team towards the implementation of innovative user experiences for a wide range of top tier European and global brands.
Prior to joining Fjord Oy, he spent the previous six months traveling and working throughout Denmark,
Sweden, Norway and Finland in orderto better understand Scandinavian / Nordic design principles and refine his creative leadership capabilities.
He worked as Lead User Experience Designer for TRIPLE Copenhagen in Denmark under the guidance of
of Lars Corsten. He lead the user experience research and wireframe conceptualizations for the future global Radisson Blu
web site, as well as helping implement a more cohesive user navigation experience for the Hotel Missoni web site.
Yonatan also visited several well respected Scandinavian interaction design firms such
Supershapes, NorthKingdom,Hello Group,
NetPeople, and Designit, in order to better understand their overall creative approach, team structure, and how
they attempt to refine and enrich user experiences.
From September 2007 to February 2009, Yonatan was a Interaction Designer at Frog Design where he conceptualized,
designed, and helped implement innovative user experiences for the following accounts,
Clearwire Xohm,
Cox Communications,
Hospital for Special Surgery,
Project Masiluleke,
McKinsey Consulting,
VeriSign,
Humana,
MediaFLO,
His responsibilities at Frog Design included conducting user requirements analysis, conceptualizing and designing personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
He also designed user interfaces and information architectures using participatory and iterative design techniques, which included observational studies, as well as customer interviews,
usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery.
Yonatan earned his Masters from
NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program in 2007 where his core focus was on how mobile device user experiences
can be influenced to have a social and political impact within emerging nations.
