Project Six
Pictures Of The Week

Date: February,25,2006
Purpose: To understand how to take black and white pictures in bright sunlight.

I took the following pictures in Central Park with my Canon A95 set in the P mode and evaluated the white balance using the white card before each shot. Taking pictures of the frozen pond was interesting because I wanted to show the depth of the water as well as the texture of the ice but was worried about the light reflection but I think overall they came out allright but I think I should have used flash in some of the pictures.

The pictures were taken in Central Park and I used a tripod to stabilize my camera.
