Project Two
Pictures Of The Week

Date: February,6,2006
Purpose: To understand how to capture images in natural light by the control of white balance, aperture and a gray card.

I took the following pictures using my Cannon A95 on a day that was both sunny and cloud at times. This ever changing light source really frustrated me because I was not quick enough at times to set up my white balance and manual controls to take any test shots but with enough practice I am hoping to get better.

I took all five pictures within the Soho area because of the beautiful building and wide streets. Another reason was also due to the fact that since the area has low buildings, this allows for more sunlight to reflect onto the street.

The pictures were all taken in P mode, adjusting the white balance as well as the aperture.
